Enhancements for Follow-On Rental Agreements
- The alternative invoice date of the follow-on agreement can optionally be shifted automatically by one day to prevent duplicate billing.
- When a follow-on rental agreement is created, requested equipment and relevant services from the previous agreement are now also transferred.
Handover App
- The status changes to “Check-Out” only after the customer has successfully signed the rental agreement and handover report.
- If the process is cancelled beforehand, the agreement remains in “Reserved” status.
- Customer & Master Data
Improved Duplicate Check
- The date of birth has been integrated into duplicate detection.
- This allows similar or duplicate customer master records to be identified more reliably.
Automatic Email Inheritance
- For private customers, the email address can automatically be adopted as the web login and eBilling address.
Vehicle Master Data
- The last Check-In station is displayed in vehicle master data.
- New intake movements are created without a damage indicator by default.
- Invoices, Penalties & Invoicing
Extended Invoice Permissions
- Invoices can now also be viewed by users who are authorized for the stations of the underlying rental agreement.
Improved Linking of Penalties and Invoices
- Direct navigation between the police letter and the associated invoice.
- After a penalty invoice has been cancelled, a new invoice can be generated from the police letter if required.
Damage Billing
- Customer selection can be restricted by role permission to customers involved in the rental agreement.
- Price Lists
Excel Import and Export
- Price list items can be exported to Excel, adjusted, and imported again.
- Changes are logged and can be integrated into existing four-eyes processes.
Extended Service Control
- The target group of services can be overridden directly in the price list, for example customer or alternative debtor.
- Credit Cards & Payment Management
Expiring Credit Cards
- Customers can be informed automatically about credit cards that are about to expire.
- Dashboards show sent notifications and the current status.
- New Quartz jobs automatically transfer stored replacement cards to existing agreements and recreate the required reservations.
Failed Credit Card Payments
- Customers can be informed automatically by email about failed credit card transactions.
Payment Management
- Credit card payments can now be marked as cancelled without contacting the payment provider directly. The actual refund is then processed outside the Mobility Manager.
- The associated business partner is now displayed more clearly in the payment portal journal.
- Automated Communication
Extended Email Notifications
- Emails can be sent automatically or manually with internal documents, such as rental agreements and handover reports, as well as external PDF attachments.
- Use cases such as the automatic delivery of signed rental agreements or general terms and conditions can be fully configured.
Vehicle Inspection Reminders
- Multi-stage email reminders inform customers about upcoming or overdue vehicle inspection dates during active rental agreements.
- Dashboards allow sent notifications to be tracked.
- Reporting & Evaluations
Custom Reports
- Custom reports can now also be exported in XML format.
Dashboards
- New overviews for:
- Expiring credit cards
- Notifications already sent
- Upcoming vehicle inspection dates for vehicles in active rentals
- Security & Performance
Sorting Large Data Volumes
- To avoid performance problems, sorting lists containing more than 1,000 records can be restricted through permissions.
- Users without approval must first reduce the result set using filters.
- User Interface
- Minor optimizations and renamings were made. For example, in employee master data the label “Use” was changed to “Cash Register Type” to describe the function more clearly.
