Release 25/4
The following enhancements are included in Release 25/4:
- Rental Agreements & Reservations
- Rental agreements and reservations can now be copied. Most agreement data is carried over; vehicle, replacement, accident, and report data are excluded. Copying drivers and payment methods can be controlled by permissions.
- For split rental agreements, automatic default split debtors can be defined by station, agreement type, and period.
- Driver’s License Check & Compliance
- Agreement types can be configured so that a rental agreement can only be printed after the driver’s license has been checked and validated.
- Previously fixed mandatory fields for identity card and driver’s license data can now be controlled flexibly through the security configuration.
- Vehicle Master Data
- New “Vehicle Properties” filter field for targeted searches by vehicle characteristics.
- Improved filter options analogous to dispatching.
- User Interface & Usability
- Optimized arrangement of information in the Check-Out/Check-In screen.
- Several design and usability improvements in the PWA/handover app:
- Important rental and vehicle information is displayed more prominently.
- Improved station selection.
- Unnecessary information dialogs have been removed.
- The communication overview now displays sender and recipient email addresses separately.
- Report numbers are visible and can be filtered in reports.
- Master Data
- The form of address has been extended by the value “Not specified.”
- This applies to business partners, drivers/persons, and employees.
- Availability Analysis & Reporting
- The “Availability Forecast” module now also supports evaluations for past periods.
- Historical utilization, inventory, handovers, returns, and active rentals can be analyzed and traced down to individual transactions.
- Billing
- For damage billing, the actual date of damage is now used as the service period.
- This ensures that the correct vehicle and time information is used in invoicing, particularly in vehicle replacement scenarios.
- System & Migrations
- New backend migrations for:
- Fuel price lists
- Police letters
These changes primarily support technical development and background data migration.
